Michael A. Farbstein

Michael A. Farbstein is a highly regarded civil trial attorney, with deep experience in the gamut of labor and employment matters. Admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Mr. Farbstein represents employers in a wide variety of matters, including discrimination under state and federal laws, individual and class wage and hour claims, wrongful termination and other acts of retaliation, disability discrimination and FMLA disputes. Mr. Farbstein also provides advice and counsel to these clients on a wide spectrum of risk management and human resources issues. His professional liability caseload has included defending claims of malpractice against lawyers, accountants, and real estate professionals. He also has a record of seven figure verdicts and settlements for plaintiffs, and defense verdicts for defendants. 

Mr. Farbstein's litigation experience includes business torts, breach of contract claims, and personal injury matters His successful track record in all of these endeavors have earned him the high regard of his fellow attorneys, including an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.
