Robert J. Bruening

As a partner at Viola Law Firm P.C., Robert J. Bruening is dedicated to serving clients in San Mateo, California. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of California, Davis, Mr. Bruening went on to attend Creighton University School of Law. From there, he received a Juris Doctor in 2000.

Mr. Bruening knows that going through a divorce is stressful for all involved parties and he has committed his legal career to helping guide families through this difficult time. His notable successes include protecting a client's stock from marital property division, getting a premarital agreement invalidated and arranging for a parent to receive more visitation after the other parent filed a move-away order request. Mr. Bruening is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of California

Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Mr. Bruening. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the San Mateo County Bar Association.
