Fernanda Bueno

Fernanda Bueno is the founder of the firm Bueno Law Corp., which has its offices in San Rafael, California. She focuses her practice exclusively on matters involving immigration, including asylum, removal defense, U visas, VAWA, extension of status and waivers. In the legal field with over six years of experience, she serves clients in California as well as throughout the country.

Ms. Bueno is a compassionate and caring lawyer who vigorously defends the rights and liberties of her clients. After going through the immigration process herself, helping other immigrants has become her passion. She understands her clients and treats them as family.

Completing her undergraduate studies in 2011, Ms. Bueno graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, history and Spanish from Notre Dame de Namur University. She then pursued her legal education at the Golden Gate University School of Law, and earned her doctorate in jurisprudence in immigration.

After law school, Ms. Bueno served as a law clerk in a few prominent law firms. In 2016, she started the Bueno Law Corp., with an aim to help immigrants with the immigration process. As a refugee from Brazil herself, she is dedicated to helping her clients to obtain security and independence.  

Ms. Bueno is an active member of prominent legal associations, including the American Bar Association, The Bar Association of San Francisco and San Diego, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She has received a “Good” rating on Avvo for her notable work in the immigration law field. She has also received positive reviews and ratings from her satisfied clients. She is a volunteer at several organizations that help immigrants in California.
