Julia A. DeClark

Julia A. DeClark is the owner of Frank P. Barbaro & Associates in Santa Ana, California, where she focuses her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Known for her commitment to integrity and client advocacy, she has dedicated her career to continuing the legacy of excellence and compassion established by the firm’s founder, Frank P. Barbaro. She represents individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.

Ms. DeClark’s career in law spans more than three decades, beginning in 1991 after she graduated from the Southern California College of Business. She joined the firm as a paralegal and quickly rose to senior paralegal, working directly alongside Frank Barbaro. Since 1996, she has played an instrumental role in the firm’s success, becoming an indispensable part of its trial and litigation team.

Over the course of her career, Ms. DeClark served as second chair in more than 50 trials, binding arbitrations and mediations. She was responsible for drafting and organizing pretrial motions, briefs and other critical documents, while also attending medical examinations with clients to provide support throughout the process. In addition, she supervised staff, managed the office’s operations and oversaw marketing and client outreach. Her diverse background gave her a unique perspective on both the legal and practical sides of running a law firm.

In 2018, Ms. DeClark began her legal studies at Trinity Law School, where she earned her J.D. in 2021 while continuing her work with the firm. After passing The State Bar of California, she assumed ownership of the practice in accordance with Frank Barbaro’s wishes.

Today, Ms. DeClark carries forward the firm’s tradition of tireless advocacy, blending her extensive experience with her passion for justice to deliver skilled and compassionate representation to every client she serves.
