Robert G. Harris is a seasoned business bankruptcy attorney at Binder Malter Harris & Rome-Banks LLP. For the past 36 years, with a focus on main Chapter 11 reorganization cases, workouts, and deep experience in Subchapter V small business cases.  He thoroughly analyzes the financial situation of each client and offers debt relief options that meet their short- and long-term objectives, enabling them to move toward financial freedom.

He is qualified to practice in California, the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Central Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Recognized throughout California as a competent and honest attorney, Mr. Harris has testified before the California legislatureas an expert in bankruptcy law. He has authored many articles, case analyses and legislative proposals that are brought before parliament in the form of bills. He has also been part of many speaking engagements and conferences sponsored by organizations such as the State Bar of California, the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and more.

In addition to serving as a chair of the State Bar of California, Mr. Harris has functioned as the adviser and member of its Insolvency Law Committee and Business Law Section – Executive Committee. Furthermore, he was the educational co-chair of the California Bankruptcy Forum (CBF) Insolvency Conference in 2013.
