Gilbert E. Stein

Board-certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a workers’ compensation specialist, Mr. Stein has gained invaluable experience efficiently representing clients with their workers’ compensation matters, with a firm commitment to their interests and needs. 

With a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California at Santa Cruz, Mr. Stein earned his Juris Doctor from the Golden Gate University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state of California and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Mr. Stein is enthusiastically involved in the legal arena and has memberships in the Monterey County Bar Association, the Santa Cruz County Bar Association, the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association, the Workplace Injury Law & Advocacy Group, the California Teachers Association Group Legal Services and the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee for the state of California. 

Mr. Stein was a member of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association’s Legislative Committee and co-chaired the Media Committee. He firmly believes that one should give back to their society and volunteers his time with the Watsonville Law Center.
