Don De Leon

The founder of his eponymous law firm, Don De Leon dedicates his practice to employment law, personal injury litigation and business matters. Based in Santa Monica, California, he provides representation to clients throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and other parts of the state. 

Mr. De Leon's employment law practice is limited to the representation of current, former and prospective employees. He's spent a lot of time tackling claims of discrimination under federal and state laws. These include the Civil Rights Act of 1964, California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. His business clients have included cooperatives, arts organizations and social enterprises, and his work in this regard has encompassed formation, regulatory compliance and intellectual property protection. Before establishing Don De Leon - Attorney At Law, he worked at another well-known firm where he handled deals worth billions and rubbed elbows with the Fortune 500 crowd.

Majoring in economics, Mr. De Leon attended the University of Notre Dame and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1999. After obtaining a Master of Theological Studies from the Franciscan School of Theology, he pursued his legal education at the UC Berkeley School of Law, and he served on the California Law Review and as the editor of the Asian American Law Journal and the Berkeley Journal of International Law before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2009. He has been admitted to practice in California since then.
