Armine Safarian Khatchaturian

Devoting all of her practice to complex civil litigation, Armine Safarian Khatchaturian is an attorney at The Homampour Law Firm in Sherman Oaks, California. She represents clients throughout the San Fernando Valley and other parts of Los Angeles County. Ms. Khatchaturian has been admitted to practice before all California state courts since 2010, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Ms. Khatchaturian attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in history and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2006. She then enrolled at Western State College of Law, which is in Irvine and is a part of Westcliff University. While there, Ms. Khatchaturian served as a law clerk with the major crimes unit of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and helped her colleagues prepare for high-profile trials, including death penalty cases. After receiving her Juris Doctor in 2009, she was associated with a criminal defense law firm until joining her current firm in June 2011.

The majority of Ms. Khatchaturian’s practice is devoted to personal injury and wrongful death litigation, in which she represents plaintiffs who have incurred substantial losses as the result of the negligence of other persons or entities. The cases that she has worked on have included premises liability, truck and other motor vehicle crashes, defective products, and workplace accidents. Ms. Khatchaturian has also advocated on behalf of victims of sexual assault as well as workplace sexual harassment, and she has been able to obtain significant compensation for her clients through jury awards and negotiated settlements. Ms. Khatchaturian is fluent in Eastern and Western Armenian as well as in English, and she is a member of several professional and community organizations.
