Carina Izakelian

Carina Izakelian is a workers’ compensation attorney at Michael Burgis & Associates, P.C., in Sherman Oaks, California. Ms. Izakelian provides legal representation to injured California workers. She serves clients in the Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Long Beach areas.

Prior to joining Michael Burgis & Associates, P.C., Ms. Izakelian worked at one of California’s largest workers’ compensation defense firms, representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters. Her substantial experience in this area provides her with insight into the strategies used by the other side, which she now uses to her advantage representing injured employees.

Ms. Izakelian has experience with all types of workers’ compensation matters. She understands the devastating and long-term consequences of a workplace injury and handles cases involving a wide range of work-related illnesses and catastrophic injuries and aggressively advocates for maximum compensation for her clients.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in sociology at Pepperdine University, Ms. Izakelian received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While pursuing her legal education, she participated on the national moot court team and was student bar president.

Following law school, Ms. Izakelian returned to California and passed the California Bar Examination. She is qualified to appear before all California state courts and is a member of The State Bar of California.
