Michael Parks

Michael Parks offers dedicated legal services to people living throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area and across the state of California.  Mr. Parks is a co-founder and partner at Schimmel & Parks, APLC.  He focuses his practice on employment and consumer protection cases, and he generally handles litigation involving a wide variety of issues, including sexual harassment, whistleblower/retaliation, wrongful termination, and consumer fraud/protection.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in history from Arizona State University, Mr. Parks went on to attend the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he served on the law review. He graduated from there in 1991, receiving a Juris Doctor.

Passionate about protecting the rights of workers and consumers who have been wronged, Mr. Parks aids clients with individual cases, as well as with representative, collective and class action lawsuits. Having 30 years of litigation and trial experience, he is undaunted going up against powerful companies or organizations, and he has helped recover millions of dollars in damages on behalf of his clients. Staying active in the legal community, Mr. Parks has been a member of several professional associations, including the South Bay Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and The Hon. Committed to giving back, he has also volunteered his time providing pro bono services as a settlement officer for the 2nd District Court of Appeal’s settlement conference and mediation program and for the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles.
