Pam Teren

Pamela Teren is the founder of Teren Law Group, located in Redondo Beach, California. Focusing her practice exclusively on employment law issues, she represents employees throughout the area who have suffered harm in cases involving workplace harassment, employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination and similar matters.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1985, Ms. Teren obtained a master's degree in history from California State University, Fullerton. She then went on to attend Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor cum laude in 1990. After graduation, Ms. Teren spent several years as an associate with a well-known international law firm, where she represented employers in disputes until co-founding the predecessor to her current firm in 1995. Her experience defending employers has given her a unique perspective in her current representation of employees. She is admitted to practice in California.

Ms. Teren has won victories for her clients in more than 90 percent of her cases, and she has never lost in opposing motions for summary judgment. She obtained verdicts in excess of $1 million in two highly publicized cases, and she has prevailed in the appeals of others as well.

Always seeking to stay abreast of developments in employment law, Ms. Teren has been an active participant in several legal organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the California Employment Lawyers Association. Highly regarded by her fellow professionals, she has received a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo, and she is often asked to speak before groups of fellow attorneys on employment litigation topics.
