Douglas H. Ridley

Managing attorney at Ridley Defense, Douglas H. Ridley represents clients in the state of California, with a focus on Southern California, including Los Angeles County, Santa Barbara County and Ventura County. A criminal defense attorney with over two decades of experience, he represents those who have been accused of committing a long list of crimes, including matters such as juvenile crimes, drug crimes, theft offenses, sex crimes, major felonies, weapons offenses, expungement, domestic violence and DUI defense.

Admitted to practice in the state of California, Mr. Ridley is a former Deputy District Attorney for Ventura County. He was also a Case File Review Prosecutor and involved with the Special Victims Unit, the Gang Intelligence Unit, the Narcotics Unit and the General Felony Unit. Recipient of Trusted Advisor Award by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal, he was also a Moorpark Hometown Hero and named a Small Business Award Winner by the United Chambers of Commerce.

Mr. Ridley has been featured on ABC Eyewitness News as a legal expert and is a Public Speaking Academy trainer for Eloqui. Former President of the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, he also served as Chairman of the Moorpark Relay for Life and the Moorpark Morning Rotary Club’s Charter President.
