The founder of The Law Offices of Bamieh & De Smeth, PLC, Ron Bamieh has a varied practice that includes criminal defense, personal injury litigation, and family law matters. With offices in Ventura and Santa Barbara, he represents clients throughout the central coast of California. Mr. Bamieh was admitted to practice before all California state courts in 1992.

Mr. Bamieh grew up in California and attended the University of Southern California, where he majored in finance and received a Bachelor of Science with honors in 1988. He then went on to pursue his legal education at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and in 1992, he graduated with his Juris Doctor. After law school, Mr. Bamieh joined the U.S. Department of Justice as an assistant chief deputy prosecutor, and he remained there until he moved back to California and took a position with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. After spending nearly 10 years there, he entered private practice.

In his personal injury and wrongful death litigation practice, Mr. Bamieh has obtained significant compensation in cases involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, sexual abuse, and construction site accidents. His family law experience has encompassed divorce and its related legal issues along with the preparation and review of prenuptial agreements.

Mr. Bamieh has developed an excellent representation as a criminal defense attorney, and he has obtained successful results in many murder cases and for other criminal charges such as DUI/DWI and white collar crimes. He is frequently a guest analyst for criminal law and other topics on national media such as Fox News and CNN, and a 1997 murder case he tried was featured on NBC Dateline.
