Aleksandr A. Volkov

Aleksandr A. Volkov is the founding attorney of Volkov Law Firm, Inc., located in Walnut Creek, California. His practice areas include real estate, landlord-tenant issues, personal injury and appellate law. Mr. Volkov extends his legal services to the San Francisco, California, area.

Originally from Russia, Mr. Volkov embarked on his legal career in 1997 after obtaining a degree in electrical engineering. In 1998, he moved to the United States, where he initially leveraged his engineering skills in the IT industry. His interest in real estate grew over time, leading him to invest in properties. This shift in focus prompted him to become a licensed real estate agent and contractor by 2005. 

Through his work in property management, Mr. Volkov found himself frequently involved in dispute resolution, navigating through various legal proceedings in courtrooms and before city and state boards. This experience motivated him to enhance his legal knowledge in the United States.

Mr. Volkov pursued further education by earning a master’s degree in legal studies from Golden Gate University. His dedication to the field of property law was acknowledged in 2009 when he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his studies in this area. This academic achievement, coupled with his practical experience, led him to establish his own legal practice in 2011. He is committed to applying both his formal education and real-world insights to serve his clients effectively.

In recognition of his skills, Mr. Volkov is certified by The State Bar of California as a specialist in appellate law. He is admitted to practice in all California districts of the federal court. Additionally, he has been a licensed California broker since 2019, having previously been a salesperson since 2005.
