Bradley R. Bowles

Bradley R. Bowles focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Over the past two decades, he has achieved substantial settlements and jury verdicts for clients in and around Walnut Creek, California, and throughout the state. His practice includes aviation accidents,  motor vehicle collisions, and defective product cases.

Mr. Bowles and Bowles & Verna, LLP have represented plaintiffs in nearly every major commercial plane crash over the past nearly thirty years. He has also represented families who have lost loved ones in small aircraft accidents, resulting in multi-million-dollar settlements.

Among his representative results are:

• A $6.3 million jury verdict in a medical malpractice and hospital negligence case

• A $1.3 million settlement on behalf of an injured motorcyclist

• A multi-million-dollar settlement for a family who lost their mother in a fatal accident

• A multi-million-dollar settlement for a farm accident victim who suffered an amputation

His peers have recognized his work with a “Superb” rating on Avvo. Mr. Bowles has also been named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 and The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, and he is a member of the invitation-only Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Lawyers of Distinction.

In 2024, Mr. Bowles and his partner, Richard Ergo, were certified as mediators by Cornell University. Since then, they have conducted dozens of mediations across various jurisdictions.

Mr. Bowles earned his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, where he played varsity football and was a member of the Sigma Pi fraternity. He received his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1999. He is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. He has also appeared pro hac vice in courts throughout the country.
