J. Kevin Moore

With almost four decades of experience, J. Kevin Moore is a senior attorney at Bold, Polisner, Maddow, Nelson & Judson, A Professional Corporation. He represents clients in California with experience in the following legal areas: construction law and construction defect litigation, contract formation and negotiation, risk management advising, general liability litigation, and commercial litigation. His clients include general contractors, trade contractors, property owners, construction material suppliers and manufacturers, public entities, commercial and residential developers, and design professionals.

Mr. Moore is admitted to practice in the State of California and is on inactive status in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is admitted to practice before a wide variety of Federal Courts, including the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of California, the Northern District of California, and the Eastern District of Virginia; the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California; and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Ninth Circuit, and the Fourth Circuit.

In 1983, Mr. Moore graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. In 1986, he graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.  While at the Wake Forest University School of Law, he was a staff member for the Wake Forest Law Review.

He is formerly a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and the Association of Defense Counsel for Northern California and Nevada. To give back to his community, he volunteers and has volunteered with several organizations, including the Walnut Creek Youth Athletic Association, where he served for several years as a coach of different youth sports.
