  • In 2023, Mr. Renneisen tried a wrongful death case with co-counsel Ed Dudensing and Andrew Collins against a skilled nursing facility chain in Sacramento, California.  The jury returned a verdict of $30.9 million dollars in favor of the plaintiffs.  The verdict is believed to be the largest nursing home elder abuse verdict ever in the greater Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area regions.  The trial court also awarded $4.7 million dollars in attorneys fees to Mr. Renneisen's client.  Sam Rios Jr., et al. v.   • In 2019, Mr. Renneisen tried a wrongful death case with co-counsel Ed Dudensing against an assisted living facility in Sacramento, California.  The jury returned a verdict of $42.5 million dollars in favor of the plaintiffs.  The verdict is believed to be the largest verdict ever against an assisted living facility in the United States.  Lovenstein v.   • In 2010, Mr. Renneisen tried a wrongful death elder abuse case with Ed Dudensing where a landmark $29.1 million jury verdict was obtained against a skilled nursing facility in Sacramento.  The Sacramento Bee reported this to be the largest single plaintiff’s injury jury verdict in Sacramento history.  Verdict Published at 26 Nat.
