Scott J. Lantry

Scott J. Lantry is a partner at Whiting, Ross, Abel & Campbell, LLP, a Walnut Creek, California-based law firm, where he represents clients in all areas of family law. His practice encompasses a broad range of domestic relations matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and other complex family law disputes. He is committed to helping individuals and families navigate challenging legal issues with practical guidance and effective advocacy tailored to their unique circumstances.

Mr. Lantry approaches every case with a strategic and client-focused mindset, recognizing the personal and financial impact family law matters can have on those involved. Mr. Lantry earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2008, where he served on the law review and distinguished himself through academic and competitive achievements. During law school, he earned first-place honors in the Western Region of the G.S. Rich National Moot Court Competition, demonstrating his strong oral argument and legal analysis skills. He received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Grove City College.

Admitted to The State Bar of California in 2008, Mr. Lantry is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California. He remains actively involved in the legal community through leadership and professional service. He has served as a board member of the Alameda-Contra Costa Trial Lawyers’ Association and the Family Law Section of the Contra Costa County Bar Association. In 2025, he joined the board of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists.
