Kenneth Greene

Focusing his practice primarily on a variety of business transactions and litigation, Kenneth Greene is the owner of the Law Office of Kenneth Charles Greene. His firm is located in Westlake Village, California, and he represents clients throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Greene attended Brandeis University as an undergraduate, and he majored in sociology and music, and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1977. He then went on to obtain his legal education at Santa Clara University Santa Clara Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1980.

A significant portion of Mr. Greene’s practice involves equipment financing transactions, and he has represented lessors, lenders and equity providers in these types of matters. He has been a member of the board of directors of the National Equipment Finance Association, and he is General Counsel to the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers. Mr. Greene has written and lectured extensively on topics relating to this particular practice area.

Mr. Greene also represents individual and institutional creditors in high-profile business bankruptcy cases that have been filed pursuant to Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, and he has contributed on this topic to a California real estate treatise. In addition, Mr. Greene’s practice has encompassed entertainment law, where he has represented individual artists as well as companies in contract negotiations and related transactions, and his litigation practice has encompassed fraud, business torts and collections. Held in high regard by his fellow members of the bar for his successful track record, Mr. Greene has received a Distinguished* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He has been admitted to practice before all California state courts since 1980.
