Daniel W. Johnson

Daniel W. Johnson is the co-founder and Managing Attorney of Berglund & Johnson Law Group, where he has dedicated more than four decades to championing the rights of individuals harmed by negligence. He has built a reputation for skillfully handling high-stakes, catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims throughout California.

Mr. Johnson’s extensive trial and negotiation experience covers a broad range of complex matters, including collisions involving large trucks, cars and trains; aviation disasters; dangerous or defective products; unsafe construction sites; elder abuse; and premises liability. Over the years, he has secured numerous substantial verdicts and settlements for clients facing life-altering injuries such as traumatic brain damage, severe burns, paralysis, spinal trauma and loss of limbs.

Mr. Johnson's academic foundation began with a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Licensed to practice since 1976, he has pursued continuing education, including advanced medical coursework at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, enabling him to navigate cases involving complex medical issues with great insight.

Committed to service beyond the courtroom, Mr. Johnson has held leadership roles in nonprofit and professional organizations, including the Christian Legal Society’s Los Angeles Chapter, the Center for Conflict Resolution and the Salvation Army.
