Edith A. Nazarian

Edith A. Nazarian is the attorney behind the Law Offices of Edith Nazarian in Woodland Hills, California. She focuses her practice on immigration and criminal law and serves clients in the Los Angeles area and throughout the state of California.

Ms. Nazarian graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2012 after completing her bachelor’s degree in English and criminology from the University of California – Irvine in 2009. During law school, she served as a tutor at the Loyola Writing Center and was a member of the Armenian Law Students Association. She became a licensed attorney in 2012 and is authorized to appear in all California superior courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Ms. Nazarian is rated “Excellent” on Avvo. She helps her clients resolve their immigration issues, including those related to permanent residency, nonimmigrant visas, deportation, citizenship and naturalization. Furthermore, she has experience defending both U.S. citizens and immigrants accused of criminal charges. 

At the start of her legal career, Ms. Nazarian clerked for the Los Angeles County Child Support Services and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. She was a graduate fellow of the Loyola Project for the Innocent and also practiced as a contract attorney at a Pasadena-based law firm.

Ms. Nazarian has experience negotiating and litigating criminal and immigration matters as well as researching and writing motions before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Los Angeles Immigration Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. She has successfully argued cases before both state and appellate courts.

In addition to focusing on her practice, Ms. Nazarian authored an article titled “Crossing Over: Assessing Operation Streamline and the Rights of Immigrant Criminal Defendants at the Border.” The article was published in the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and is frequently referenced by other legal sources. Moreover, she presents at various conferences and legal events.
