Eric M. Gruzen

Employment law attorney Eric M. Gruzen serves clients from the Woodland Hills office of the legal firm, JML Law, which has two other locations in Anaheim and Oakland, California. He represents clients across Southern California, helping them with matters such as:

Mr. Gruzen joined JML Law in 2018 after 14 years at a national law firm, having primarily handled management-side employment cases and occasionally litigating against JML Law. After getting to know many of the JML Law team and becoming impressed with the work they did and the clients they represented, he decided to use the inside knowledge of defending employment cases to his benefit and began representing employees whose rights have been violated. He has litigated hundreds of employment law cases over the many years of his legal career. 

Admitted to practice in the states of California (2002), Nevada (2009) and the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Mr. Gruzen is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Nevada and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is also affiliated with the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Mr. Gruzen earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Transnational Lawyer.

As a seasoned employment litigation attorney, Mr. Gruzen guides clients through all stages of the legal proceedings, including drafting the complaints, conducting depositions, discovery, meditation and all aspects of trials and arbitrations.
