I would like to mention that these settlements were achieve while I was employed as a Senior Trial Attorney at the Law Office of Jacob Emrani, which is also a Plaintiff-side Personal Injury Firm (not EMET INJURY) The following are my notable achievements for fiscal year 2023-2024: $1,000,000.00 policy limit settlement for client in a premises liability slip-and-fall in an RV Park (December 2023) - liability was outright denied for my client, who sustained a broken collar-bone while slipping on an oil spill nearby the property management office. $992,500.00 settlement in a UIM Arbitration claim for a rideshare passenger in a rear-end accident (2023). Defendant-Driver carried a minimum policy of $15,000.00, and the rideshare company refused to honor client's injuries. $660,000.00 settlement for Plaintiff after she was rear-ended at a stop sign (2023). - Insurance company claimed my client's injuries were not caused by the incident and denied the client's relief. $600,000.00 mediation settlement for claimant in a premises liability slip-and-fall at 99 Cents Stores (2023) - client fell onto an empty pallet, causing a puncture wound in her right buttocks by rusty nail. $450,000.00 settlement two days before trial commencement in a negligence action involving a Plaintiff walking onto a city bus in Los Angeles, California (2023) - bus company denied the incident ever took place, and only began to care after 13 depositions of defendant's employees took place. $326,000.00 settlement for Plaintiff in a premises liability slip-and-fall after liability was denied up until jury selection. (2023) - client broke her left knee after slipping on laundry detergent, and defendants surveillance footage was deleted. $252,000.00 settlement for a Plaintiff who was struck by a package delivery driver (2024) - client was 18 years old, skateboarding in front of his house when package deliver driver did not see him and ran over his left foot. $120,000.00 settlement for elder man in a city claim after sewage spilled onto the street in front of a Trader Joe's, denying liability for a month before trial. $526,000.000 settlement for a premises liability claim at a mexican chain restaurant (2023) - client was on the bar-top, enjoying lunch where a waitress walked by and fell into a large propane heater, burning her arm.
