Pete Thomas is the principal and founder of Praxidice Law in Aspen, Colorado where he focuses on complex commercial and general civil litigation. Pete began his legal career with a prestigious appointment clerking for the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court. He then worked in the litigation department of a large national law firm before relocating to Aspen.
Pete has been selected as a Colorado Super Lawyer, enjoys the highest AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale Hubbell, has attained the designation of Master Advocate with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and is listed as one of Colorado’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers with the National Trial Lawyer’s Association. In 2020, he was appointed to the Board of the Litigation Executive Council of the Colorado Bar Association.
Pete is a former nationally ranked freestyle mogul skier and whitewater kayaker, hobbies he still pursues in his spare time. He also is an avid musician and plays guitar in a popular local band that has played venues throughout Colorado.
