Paul R. Wood

Paul R. Wood is an attorney with Franklin D. Azar & Associates that has several law offices across Colorado. Working out of the firm's Aurora, Colorado, office, Mr. Wood serves with the firm's class action/mass tort group, and he represents a diverse range of clients throughout the greater Denver metro region and surrounding areas who need help with protecting their 401(k)s and other retirement accounts and recovering the losses they incurred from plan mismanagement.

Before joining Franklin D. Azar & Associates, Mr. Wood was a partner with several other prominent law firms in the area, where he focused primarily on defending financial service providers and other large corporations during high-stakes securities litigation and other commercial disputes. He has extensive experience representing the rights and interests of both plaintiff and defendants alike during bench and jury trials as well as arbitration in various jurisdictions across the country.

A 1978 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, Mr. Wood attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1982. The Colorado Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Mr. Wood is highly active in his legal community, as evidenced by his membership with several local, state and national bar associations, including the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the litigation and business law sections of the American Bar Association, among others. He also serves as a volunteer mediator with Jefferson County Mediation Services.
