Jocelyn is a partner at Kottke & Brantz, LLC. Her current practice includes real estate and estate planning work, as well as business mergers & acquisitions, corporate formation and general legal advice. She enjoys acting in the role of “in house counsel” for many of her clients – providing on-demand legal advice on a variety of topics. Jocelyn has recently assisted clients with:
-The sale of a business (asset or stock) or franchise location
-The purchase of all, or an interest in, a business or franchise location
-Negotiation of business contracts, vendor and customer agreements, drafting of new contracts
-Formation or reorganization of an LLC, S-Corp or Corporation
-General business legal advice
-Sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties
-Lease agreements for residences and commercial properties
Prior to joining Kottke & Brantz, LLC, Jocelyn worked at the #12 internationally ranked law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in the Boston office.
Jocelyn graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2007. She attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Political Science and Economics.
Jocelyn belongs to the Boulder County Bar Association (BCBA) and the Colorado Bar Association (CBA). She is a member of the CBA’s Business Law Section and Real Estate Law Section.
Jocelyn grew up in Boulder county and is happy to return to the area to practice law. When she is not in the office, Jocelyn spends most of her time with her husband and two children.
