A 1981 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Mr. Langston returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1985. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Mr. Langston is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, where he once served as president. He is also a member of the Boulder County Bar Association, and served as chair of the organization's Professionalism Committee for ten years.
