She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, where she graduated with honors.
Ms. Balten is a graduate of the 2015 Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training (COBALT) and served as the Region 7 vice president of the Colorado Bar Association from 2019 to 2020.
