Bruce A. Lampert

An experienced aviation safety lawyer, litigator, and pilot, Bruce Lampert has represented the victims of plane crashes in many aviation law cases, including Continental Flight 1713 at Denver, the Northwest Flight 255 disaster at Detroit, the United Flight 585 disaster at Colorado Springs, the in-flight structural failure of United Flight 811 over the South Pacific, TWA Flight 800 near Long Island, American Eagle Flight 3379 in North Carolina, Sioux City Flight 232, and the Korean Air disaster near Guam.

"The practice of aviation law allows me to combine one of my passions – flying – with a profession that helps people, improves an industry, and gives me great satisfaction," says Mr. Lampert.

As a partner at Katzman, Lampert & McClune in Westminster, Colorado, Mr. Lampert graduated in 1979 with his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law. During law school, he wrote for the Denver Law Journal, won the American Law Book Prize, and was honored with the American Jurisprudence Prize in Contracts.

Today, he is a respected author, lecturer, and speaker at educational institutions and legal seminars. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and a former member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association’s governing board.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Lampert attended Naval Flight School in Florida and served as an intelligence officer with the Navy F-4 fighter squadron aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea (CVA-43). He still flies hundreds of hours every year.
