Daniel McKenzie

With over two decades of experience in the legal profession, Daniel McKenzie has established a reputation for his dedicated counsel. Serving clients at The McKenzie Law Firm, LLC, in Centennial, Colorado, he handles matters of estate planning and probate, including trusts, wills, power of attorney and living wills. He holds extensive experience in business law, having counseled clients in issues of corporate and LLC formation, succession planning, buy-sell agreements and contract reviews.

Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan in 2001, Mr. McKenzie pursued his law degree at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. At law school, he was an active contributor to the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and was a runner-up at the Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition. After gaining his Juris Doctor in 2003, he earned his license to practice in Illinois and Colorado in 2003 and 2007 respectively.

After handling trial cases for a decade, Mr. McKenzie transitioned into estate planning and probate with the aim of helping people resolve their problems before the need for court intervention. He also ventured into business consulting. Founding his own firm, he cemented his practice in estate planning and business.
