The Colorado Bar Association admitted her to practice in 1996, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Wanting to further develop her interest in helping families protect their elderly loved ones, she received a graduate certificate in Gerontology from University of Colorado Colorado Springs, in 2004. She then obtained an LL.M in elder law from Stetson University College of Law in Florida. Additionally, both she and her partnering attorney are two of only nine lawyers in Colorado certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as elder law attorneys.
In addition to her practice, Ms. Seal remains active in several professional organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the American Bar Association's Elder Law group, among others. An accomplished author, she has published a number of articles and other works related to her practice areas, including Colorado Elder Law, which is part of the Colorado practice series of publications.
