Gordon Heuser was born and raised in Colorado Springs. He grew up attending Redeemer Lutheran Church and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1977, a proud Marauder. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
He has spent nearly four decades doing one thing: fighting for injured people in Southern Colorado. Licensed in Colorado since 1985, he started as a solo practitioner that same year. In 1996, he co-founded Heuser & Heuser, L.L.P. with his brother Barkley Heuser, and he has led the firm from its Colorado Springs and Pueblo offices ever since.
Over his career, Gordon has helped clients across El Paso County, Pueblo County, and the surrounding Southern Colorado region with workers' compensation claims, car accident cases, wrongful death matters, and complex personal injury litigation. He knows that an accident does more than injure the body. It can put a family's finances and peace of mind at risk. He offers steady guidance and vigorous representation to help clients rebuild after a serious car accident or a workplace injury.
Gordon also knows that early evidence matters. The clock starts the moment an accident happens, so he works to secure medical records, witness statements, and accident details before they disappear. By assessing the effect on a client's health and livelihood from the start, he builds strong claims and gives families room to focus on healing.
His commitment to service extends beyond the courtroom. Since 2019, he has served on the advisory board for the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., and as vice chair for Forge Evolution. He also volunteers with the El Paso County Bar Association.
Gordon is licensed in Colorado and Utah. He has argued cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court. He is a member of the Workers' Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG), the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), the Colorado Bar Association, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the El Paso County Bar Association.
