Jeffrey R. Hill

The founder of his own firm located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jeffrey R. Hill focuses his practice on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation. The firm accepts a limited number of cases for citizens who have suffered serious injuries or death as the result of automobile crashes and preventable falls.  The firm is selective about the cases it accepts, so that Mr. Hill can spend substantial time with each of his clients.

In 2010, Mr. Hill obtained a record-setting verdict, against Wal Mart Stores Inc., and was named a "Lawyer of the Year" by Lawyers USA. In 2011 he was named a "Lawyer of the Year" by Law Week Colorado.

Mr. Hill's successes in the courtroom and at the negotiating table have led to his receipt of a Distinguished* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.  

Mr. Hill obtained his undergraduate education at Colorado State University, and in 1992, he received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in economics and philosophy, was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Mr. Hill then went on to attend Baylor Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1995. While he was in law school, he served summer internships with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender in Ft. Collins. After graduation, Mr. Hill joined the Colorado Springs branch of that office, and he spent three years as a deputy state public defender, acting as counsel in dozens of misdemeanor and felony jury trials. From 2000-2001 he worked at the Boulder firm of Trine and Metcalf, representing people with asbestos-caused cancers. Admitted to practice in Colorado, Mr. Hill is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and The American Board of Trial Advocates. He graduated from Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College in 1997, and has served on its volunteer faculty since 2002.
