Mr. Hill then went on to attend Baylor Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1995. While he was in law school, he served summer internships with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender in Ft. Collins. After graduation, Mr. Hill joined the Colorado Springs branch of that office, and he spent three years as a deputy state public defender, acting as counsel in dozens of misdemeanor and felony jury trials. From 2000-2001 he worked at the Boulder firm of Trine and Metcalf, representing people with asbestos-caused cancers. Admitted to practice in Colorado, Mr. Hill is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and The American Board of Trial Advocates. He graduated from Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College in 1997, and has served on its volunteer faculty since 2002.
