A 2007 graduate of the University of Denver, Ms. Kush obtained her Juris Doctor in 2010 from Albany Law School. While in law school, she was the senior editor of the Albany Government Law Review as well as the New York State Bar Association's Government, Law and Policy Journal. She was also a legal fellow with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, Vehicular Crimes Unit, and she completed an internship with the Honorable Robert Littlefield of the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court.

A leader in her legal community, Ms. Kush served as President of the Colorado Bar Association (2021-2022), is a 2016 graduate of the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training class, and she once served as chair and as an executive council member for the Colorado Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.  She has also served in a variety of leadership roles with the American, Colorado and El Paso County Bar Associations, and she has conducted numerous lectures across her region on a variety of topics.

Honored for her success, Ms. Kush is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a Top Lawyer nominee in Family Law by Colorado Springs Style, and she received the Brian S. Gardner Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the El Paso County Bar Association in 2017. She has also received designation from Best Lawyers* along with many other accolades from her peers, and her law firm received the Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year award in 2018 from The Justice Center.
