Alexis Chavez

Alexis Chavez is an attorney at Harrington Brewster Mahoney Smits, P.C., in Denver, Colorado. Concentrating on family law, she covers areas of divorce and child custody, catering to the needs of her clients throughout the state. 

Ms. Chavez began her legal journey after graduating from Barry University School of Law in 2021 and subsequently gained admission to The Florida Bar the same year and in Colorado in 2022. With a robust educational background that includes a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology with a focus on women's studies from Florida State University, she brings a unique perspective to her practice.

From the outset of her career, Ms. Chavez has been oriented toward settlement in family law cases, prioritizing the well-being of the family and striving to minimize conflict. She is trained in both collaborative law and traditional litigation, utilizing her diverse skills to foster client-centered resolutions.
