Andrea N. Mahoney

As a partner at Mahoney Law, LLC, in Denver, Colorado, Andrea N. Mahoney provides strategic legal counsel to individuals, families and businesses dealing with disputes involving estates, trusts and commercial matters. Her practice covers estate and trust litigation, will contests, probate disputes, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and elder law issues, as well as a wide range of business and contract litigation matters.

With nearly three decades of experience, Ms. Mahoney has significant experience and a deep understanding of fiduciary duties, asset protection and dispute resolution. She is known for her meticulous approach to high-stakes litigation and her ability to guide clients through emotionally and financially sensitive conflicts. She regularly represents beneficiaries, fiduciaries and business owners in contested proceedings.

Ms. Mahoney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Oklahoma State University in 1991, where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She later went on to pursue her legal studies at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 1995.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Mahoney’s work includes business transactions and advising clients on risk management and compliance issues. Licensed to practice law in Colorado since 1996, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Ms. Mahoney is actively involved within her legal community. She is the Co-Chair for the Probate and Litigation Committee of the Estate and Trust Section of the Colorado Bar Association and is a member of several legal organizations, such as W.O.L.F. (Colorado Women Owned Law Firms), the Denver Bar Association and various subsections of the Colorado Bar Association.
