Brian C. Williamson

Attorney Brian C. Williamson is the founding partner of BCWilliamson, PC, in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Williamson practices criminal defense in Denver and the surrounding counties and has represented clients in a wide variety of criminal matters on both the misdemeanor and felony levels, such as those involving domestic violence, homicides, property crimes, robbery, sexual assault and more.

A native of Colorado, Mr. Williamson has been admitted to practice law in the state since 2006. He earned his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. During law school, he acquired practical criminal defense experience through interning with the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.

Following law school, Mr. Williamson gained criminal defense experience through working for the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender. He also practiced as an associate at a private Colorado firm prior to opening his own Denver-based firm focusing primarily on criminal defense.

Mr. Williamson enjoys using his knowledge in the area of criminal defense to educate others. He has lectured at continuing legal education seminars for the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar on topics such as domestic violence, firearms law and other areas of criminal law. In addition, he has also served as a board member for the organization several years in a row.

Outside of his law practice and legal related activities, Mr. Williamson engages in pro bono and volunteer services. He also volunteers regularly for the Colorado Collateral Relief Project, a group that provides free legal assistance for individuals previously convicted of a crime.
