Charles R. Mendez

Charles R. Mendez is an attorney at the law firm of Denver Trial Lawyers, located in Denver. He concentrates his practice exclusively on cases related to sexual abuse and medical malpractice. With over seven years of experience practicing law, he represents clients throughout Colorado. 

Compassionate and empathetic, Mr. Mendez is a zealous and tireless advocate for the rights of his clients who are victims of sexual abuse and also those suffering because of medical practitioners’ negligent actions. He has obtained numerous million-dollar and multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. 

With a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology, Mr. Mendez graduated from Westmont College. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2014. While in law school, he was a part of the National Trial Team, clerked at the Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel and served as a student attorney at the law school’s legal clinic. 

An active affiliate with the legal community, Mr. Mendez has memberships in the American Association for Justice, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Judicial Institute’s Young Professionals Committee. He is an editor for the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association’s Trial Talk. 

Honored for his work in the legal field, Mr. Mendez was listed on the Ones to Watch list by Best Lawyers and included on The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 list. In addition to his legal practice, he has presented at many continuing legal education platforms and has also written and published his articles.
