Chelsea M. Augelli represents family law clients in counties across the state of Colorado, with her primary practice in the Denver metropolitan area. A knowledgeable and passionate professional, Ms. Augelli serves as a Shareholder at the law firm of Wells Family Law. She provides an empathetic ear and helps families obtain the best possible outcome for their specific situation. She assists them with divorces, common-law marriages, complex financial matters, allocation of parental responsibility actions, parenting time disputes, post-decree child support and/or maintenance modifications, relocation matters, as well as drafting cohabitation or prenuptial agreements. She also has substantial experience with high conflict cases involving domestic violence, mental health, and substance use issues and cases with neurodivergent or special needs children.
Ms. Augelli earned her Bachelor of Arts in sociology and business administration from the University of Denver. At the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, she graduated with honors and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2019.
Admitted to practice in Colorado since 2019, Ms. Augelli is a member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Family Law Section and Denver Bar Association. Ms. Augelli is on the board of the Colorado Women's Bar Association and will be the incumbent Co-Chair of the Public Policy Committee for 2024-2025 and serves as the Co-Chair of the Legislative Policy Committee for the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
Actively involved in helping her community, Ms. Augelli regularly volunteers for Project Safeguard's family law clinics and the Denver and Jefferson County Ask-A-Lawyer clinics.
