Christine M. Hernández

As a shareholder at Hernandez & Associates, P.C., Christine M. Hernández provides dedicated immigration law legal representation to people in Denver, Colorado, the surrounding area and throughout the country. She focuses her practice on immigration and nationality law, generally handling cases that involve the following: removal defense; appellate work before the BIA, 9th Circuit, 10th Circuit, US Supreme Court; VAWA; U Visa; asylum; adjustment of status; consular processing, and stateside provisional waivers - I-601A.

Ms. Hernández graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American University. She then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Hernández has been committed to advocating on behalf of her clients and their rights. She understands the effects that the lack of immigration status can have on people and their families. For that reason, Ms. Hernández strives to help her clients achieve positive resolutions to their legal issues. In order to best serve her clients, she is admitted to practice law in the state of Colorado as well as before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, as well as the US Supreme Court.

Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Ms. Hernández. She is a member of, and has served in varying capacities for, a number of legal organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Legal Services, and the Rhone Brackett American Inn of Court. She is a past President of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association and past Regional President for the Hispanic National Bar Association.
