Corey W. Knoebel

Born and raised in Colorado, Corey Knoebel is a co-founder of Patrick and Knoebel. Working out of the firm’s office in Denver, he represents people and businesses throughout his native state. Mr. Knoebel has been admitted to practice law before all Colorado state courts since 2018, and he is also permitted to practice law before all Arizona state courts.

Mr. Knoebel focuses his practice primarily on a variety of business transactions and litigation. Many of his clients are entrepreneurs who are considering starting a new venture, and they turn to him for legal advice. At the outset, Mr. Knoebel helps them to determine which form of legal entity would best meet their needs. Once it has been formed, he prepares and reviews a variety of agreements, including those between the owners if it is not a sole proprietorship. Mr. Knoebel also assists them with hiring practices and other employment law matters, including employment contracts, and he provides advice and counsel on the necessary compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

For his company clients that are more seasoned, Mr. Knoebel assists them when they are involved in mergers and acquisitions, and he prepares and reviews agreements related to debt or equity financing transactions. An experienced civil trial attorney, he also furnishes aggressive and effective advocacy in cases involving contract breaches, intellectual property infringement, and the misappropriation of trade secrets and other proprietary information.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Knoebel attended the University of Denver and received a Bachelor of Science in 2006. He subsequently decided to pursue a legal education and enrolled at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and in 2015, he was awarded his Juris Doctor.
