Edward M. Allen

Edward M. Allen is an attorney and partner at Allen & Curry, P.C., in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Allen focuses his practice on commercial and general civil litigation, with an emphasis in construction, representing Colorado clients in matters involving commercial disputes, construction litigation and professional liability. He has handled cases involving construction contract disputes, construction defects, municipal liability, premises liability and products liability.

Mr. Allen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Boulder and earned his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law. Before practicing in commercial and construction litigation, he gained valuable legal experience by serving as a judicial clerk.

Mr. Allen has been admitted to practice law in Colorado since 1992 and is also licensed before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. In addition to being a seasoned litigator, he is experienced in alternative dispute resolution techniques such as arbitration and mediation.

A respected member of the legal community, Mr. Allen has achieved an AV Preeminent* rating from the respected peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with his peers in the legal community by authoring and co-authoring articles on the topic of construction law and speaking on topics, including commercial and general liability claims.

Passionate about participating in professional organizations, Mr. Allen is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also belongs to the Associated General Contractors, Defense Research Institute and the Denver Bar Association.
