He focuses his practice on estate planning and administration, elder law, real estate transactions, asset protection planning and business planning. Mr. Danzo's cases routinely involve the following matters: Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning and veterans benefits, legacy planning, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, guardianships, disability and special needs planning for adults and children, asset protection planning, probate, estate and trust administration, and representation of fiduciaries.
After graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in political science, Mr. Danzo went to the University of Colorado Law School, where he graduated early, and received a Juris Doctor.
Mr. Danzo was inspired to seek a career in law after watching his family members struggle with the effects of a tragic car accident involving his aunt, who passed away after being in a coma for 10 years. He works with clients to help them understand the importance of making tough decisions before they are needed. Over the years, he has handled over 1100 administrations of estates and trusts and prepared over 6,500 estate plans for clients. His adherence to ethics and his legal skills have earned him the highest possible rating of AV-Preeminent* from Martindale Hubbell.
When he is not working with clients, Mr. Danzo spends a great deal of time promoting the importance of estate planning through spoken lectures and publications. He appears on radio and television and in person at local colleges, financial institutions and other associations. Mr. Danzo is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and has provided pro bono services for many organizations in Colorado, including the Guardianship Alliance of Colorado.
