Gregg S. Rich

Attorney Gregg S. Rich is the managing partner of Coombe Curry Rich & Jarvis, based in Denver, Colorado. He offers litigation services that encompass the areas of commercial law, construction defects, contract disputes, insurance coverage and personal injury. He regularly tries cases in state and federal courts as well as through arbitrations and before the Colorado Court of Appeals.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Cal Poly Pomona, Mr. Rich received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. A student member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, he served as the research assistant of professor Wadine Gehrke and as part of the university’s trial and appellate moot court teams. He interned at a criminal defense firm and also worked for the Student Law Office, helping those accused of crimes and conducting outreach programs for women’s shelters and the homeless.

With a license to practice law in the state courts of Colorado, New York, Wyoming and Texas, Mr. Rich appears before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Colorado and the Southern District of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Besides lecturing the insurance industry and attorney groups on various topics, he also mentors young lawyers in trial techniques through the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association (CDLA) Trial Academy.

A certified litigation management professional, Mr. Rich has garnered several recognitions. He is AV Preeminent peer-review rated,* the highest rating, through Martindale-Hubbell, and he has received the Defense Research Institute Exceptional Performance Citation. He substantially participates in organizations such as the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association and the Judge William E. Doyle American Inn of Court.

An executive board member of the CDLA, Mr. Rich has volunteered his time as pro bono counsel to the board of the Communications Technology Professionals.
