Ivan Sarkissian

Attorney Ivan Sarkissian is a co-founder and shareholder of McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Sarkissian handles matters involving business litigation, civil litigation, construction law, insurance defense, personal injury and product liability. He has over 25 years of legal experience, and serves individual and business clients throughout the Denver metropolitan area.

Mr. Sarkissian litigates large, complex cases.  Whether pushing for a negotiated resolution or preparing for trial, Mr. Sarkissian works tirelessly on behalf of his clients to achieve their goals. He is committed to professional education, writing and speaking on construction related litigation topics. He is licensed to practice law before all Colorado state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Mr. Sarkissian earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1993. He went on to graduate cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 1997. While attending law school, he served as an associate editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. 

Dedicated to involvement in his legal community, Mr. Sarkissian is a member of several local and national organizations. He belongs to the Denver Bar Association, the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association Construction Law Section, the American Bar Association.  He is also a panel member with the American Arbitration Association with an active practice serving as an arbitrator on construction related disputes.
