A highly regarded family law attorney James Garts has been practicing law since 2002. Mr. Garts was an associate with a Tennessee firm until moving back to Colorado in 2006. He is admitted to practice before all Colorado state courts.

Mr. Garts has had articles on family law topics published in The Docket, the bimonthly magazine of the Denver Bar Association. He has also delivered presentations on matters related to his practice area at continuing legal education seminars and institutes. A fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation, Mr. Garts actively participates in numerous other professional organizations. A former chairperson of the Modest Means Task Force of the Colorado Bar Association, he has also been a member of the Rhone Brackett Inn of Court and the 1st Judicial District Bar Association.
