Keith D. Lapuyade

Bringing 35 years of deep experience to his practice, Keith D. Lapuyade focuses on estate and trust litigation, probate disputes, fiduciary liability and professional liability. His expansive practice also encompasses strategic risk assessment management, personal representation for professionals involved in litigation, general and complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, arbitration and mediation. Working from his office at Evans Case, LLP, in Denver, Colorado, he extends his services to individuals across Colorado and Oklahoma.

Putting client goals at the center of his practice, Mr. Lapuyade recognizes that sensitive estate, probate and professional disputes carry significant emotional and financial stress. He offers personalized, compassionate advocacy while prioritizing open communication, clear risk assessments and honest guidance at every stage. Whether resolving complex conflicts through strategic mediation or aggressive courtroom representation, he remains dedicated to protecting his clients' interests, preserving their reputations and achieving efficient, favorable outcomes tailored specifically to them.

Upon completion of his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, Mr. Lapuyade went on to pursue legal education at O.W. Coburn School of Law. After receiving his Juris Doctor, he was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1987. Additionally, he is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Lapuyade is currently serving his third term as president of the Colorado Bar Foundation Bar Fellows. He also serves as an advisory member of the board for the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Known for his client-first approach to law, he was recognized as Lawyer of the Year in 2022 by Best Lawyers.
