A 2001 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where she received a Bachelor of Arts, Ms. Lush then spent two years teaching English to high school students in Japan before returning to the United States and entering the Washington University School of Law. While in law school, she served as notes editor for the Washington University Law Review and participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, winning the Hardy C. Dillard Award for best brief at both the regional and international compettiions.

After receiving her Juris Doctor in 2006, Ms. Lush completed a one-year judicial clerkship with Judge Rimel of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California, followed by another one-year clerkship with Judge Limbaugh of the Missouri Supreme Court before entering private practice. She joined Zupkus & Angell, P.C., in 2010, and she is admitted to practice before all Colorado state courts.

Her active participation in multiple professional organizations enables Ms. Lush to stay abreast of current developments in her practice areas and to share knowledge with her peers. She is a member of the numerous local, national, and international bar associations, and she has authored an article on law firm management. When she is not practicing law, Ms. Lush enjoys a number of outdoor activiites including running, snowskiing, wakeboarding, and playing soccer.
