- In 2023, Laura Browne and Sean Dormer went to trial for their client against his own insurance company, State Farm Insurance. Their client had been injured in a car crash with an uninsured driver, and sought to recover his Uninsured Motorist benefits from his own insurance company, State Farm. Ms. Browne brought a claim of breach of contract and a claim of uninsured motorist benefits under a Colorado statute when State Farm refused to pay her client the full value of his claim. Ms. Browne and Mr. Dormer tried the case in front of a federal court jury in the District of Colorado and obtained a $2.4 million verdict for their client., 2023
