Marcie R. McMinimee

Marcie R. McMinimee is an established real estate and trust litigation attorney with the law firm of Schwartz, McMinimee & Andrew, LLC, located in Denver, Colorado. Focusing her practice on estate and trust administration along with conservatorships, guardianships and probate litigation, she has been licensed in Colorado since 2003. 

Having completed her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude in criminal justice and corrections from the Chadron State College in 1986, Ms. McMinimee graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in 1990. She has been awarded a fellowship by The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. During the initial years of her career, she concentrated on creditor rights and commercial litigation before moving into fields including estate planning and elder law. 

Striving to champion the rights of her clients, Ms. McMinimee includes all aspects of estate planning and trust administration, involving conservatorship and financial abuse litigation. Having proven her litigation skills to the legal community, she is a regular part of the fiduciary, functioning as a deputy public administrator for the city and county of Denver. 

A member of several subcommittees of the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, Ms. McMinimee has also been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, she has also been selected to the list of Best Lawyers in America. She also sets aside time to impart her knowledge of the field to future generations by engaging in lectures in several Colorado continuing legal education courses on elder law, trust and estate topics.
